Hi, I’m Brynn Tiano, an Educational Therapist committed to helping children of all ages focus on their individual strengths while remediating their weaknesses. It’s my mission and life passion to help students who struggle with a myriad of learning issues. Connecting with each of my students and their family is an essential piece in helping them feel understood and successful. The therapeutic part is finding out how each student learns and processes information, teaching them strategies so they can apply what they learn. I’m also trained in the Orton-Gillingham method, a multi-sensory approach for teaching reading and spelling. I motivate my students on a social-emotional level where we get to also have fun with learning games and multi-sensory activities. I can honestly say that I love what I do, making goals achievable for neurodiverse children, and watching their self-esteem grow.
After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Educational Studies from Chapman University and completing my post-graduate certification in Educational Therapy, I’m so excited to be working in a field I’m passionate about.
Having years of hands-on classroom experience and working alongside specialists and teachers, together with my academic studies, this has all prepared me for working with students and to help them find educational success despite whatever challenges or differences they have.
